I'm not sure whether pointing out the obvious reasons the #protectip act will fail is a good thing to do or if it makes more sense to let the idiots who came up with it continue as they are and waste their time trying to implement something that can be trivially bypassed. If they're determined to pass something, I'd rather it not be technically savvy enough to actually do all the harm it threatens to.
